Exercise, recreation and leisure is really important in helping us keep mentally and physically well during these difficult times. While restrictions remain in place, there are likely some outdoor activities you can safely partake in.
Walk in nature. When you need a change of scenery, go for a walk in your neighbourhood park or lake. As quote from Maxime Lagacé; By discovering nature, you discover yourself.
Take photos. Parks are one of the major places where a photographer can find many interesting subjects and challenges. As you walk down your park or lake, be observant to anything that stands out and practice your photography skills.
Walk your dog. Dog, like human, requires a basic foundation for physical and mental health. If he or she is confined to the house for too long, your dog will get bored, and boredom can lead to destructive behavior.
Ride your bike. Cycling is a low impact aerobic exercise that offers a wealth of benefits. It improves your overall balance, coordination & posture, improves your mental well-being, builds muscle and many other benefits.
Running. Running is a good choice if you want to get out of the house and get in a cardio workout at the same time. However, choose a suitable time to run, e.g., early morning or evening.
With that being said, it is important that you minimize person to person contact, keep the safe distancing rules, and wear a mask before and after the the workout.
